About Benelux Customer Operations

Customer Operations Benelux brings Sales/Customer Development, Supply Chain and Operations together to deliver Excellent Execution, driven by four principles: end-to-end ownership, maximised automation, one version of the truth and continuous improvement.

Job purpose

As a Pricing Specialist you ensure customer agreements are correctly reflected in the P&L and help convert commercial agreements into real cash. You support the Out of Home & Food Service business in the Netherlands by following up on financial engagements and ensuring customer invoices are processed correctly. You are the key contact for the sales community regarding commitments and financial reserves.

What will your main responsibilities be?

  • Ensure customer invoices are processed accurately and swiftly (yourself or by guiding remote teams);
  • Advise Sales and Finance on P&L risks and opportunities;
  • Ensure audit and control guidelines are fully respected for pricing-related matters;
  • Act as the link between outsourced services and the sales community;
  • Provide clear updates on customers’ payment position;
  • Continuously identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

What you need to succeed

Must-haves

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, sales or commercial support;
  • Very strong analytical skills and high accuracy;
  • Able to work with cross-functional and remote teams;
  • Comfortable with strict deadlines, independently and in a team;
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • IT: Excel (required); SAP preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with trade spend/claims/rebates/accruals (if applicable);
  • Continuous improvement mindset (“healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo”);
  • Strong bias for action, ownership and accountability;
  • Risk management awareness in pricing/finance processes.
