Client / Company

Our client is looking for a Response Planner within Integrated Planning. This is a category-focused, customer-neutral role that owns the service and business waste agenda and monitors the related KPIs. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and the Genpact organisation to drive continuous process improvements.


What will you do?

As a Response Planner, you are responsible for short-term demand/supply reconciliation (up to approx. 6 weeks). You identify and mitigate short-term service risks, set priorities, and ensure the organisation is involved in time when disruptions may occur.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Aligning and deciding on escalation, allocation and customer priorities together with Sales and Customer Service;
  • Driving service performance towards agreed targets and clearly communicating service risks to the business;
  • Supporting short-term demand/supply reconciliation and defining demand-driven mitigation plans (e.g. via AATP Business Rules);
  • Coordinating local actions regarding residuals and blocked stock, including managing/using the POM tool;
  • Performing root cause analyses on business waste and strengthening preventive actions;
  • Driving operations planning process improvements together with Genpact;
  • Reviewing promo uplifts (X-6 and X+6) for availability together with the Market Supply Planner.


What you will get

Working with planning and allocation tools such as AATP, SAP/S/4HANA, RTVA/Fenix, Kinaxis Supply (view), POM Tool, VF.

What you bring

  • Strong planning mastery and analytical capability;
  • Experience in stakeholder management and performance management;
  • Understanding of market, channel and customer dynamics;
  • Deep process knowledge and strong communication skills;
  • Stress resilience and the ability to switch quickly during short-term service issues;
  • Experience with and/or affinity for (some of) the following systems is a plus: AATP, SAP/S/4HANA, Kinaxis, POM tooling.


KPIs (what you will be measured on)

  • Excess Stock;
  • Dispatch Rate % (DR) and Customer Service Level (SAMBC);
  • Adoption of AATP Business Rules;
  • Reporting line / Level;
  • Reporting to: Integrated Planning Manager BU;
  • Work level: WL1.
