About the Client

Our client is an international fashion and lifestyle company with a strong portfolio of premium brands in the mid‑ to high‑end segment. From the European headquarters in Amsterdam, the EMEA region is managed with a focus on omnichannel growth, data‑driven operations, and an inclusive, sustainable culture. For the Omni Planning & Allocation business unit, we are looking for an interim/contingent EMEA Integrated Demand Planning Manager.

What Will You Do?

As Senior Demand Planning Manager EMEA – Fashion Retail, you are responsible for the integrated demand planning process across EMEA. You gather and consolidate input from DTC channels (e‑commerce, full price, outlet), Merchandise Demand Planning, and Hubs/Wholesale, and translate this into sharp demand forecasts and buy recommendations.

You will:

  • Provide IDP insights for long‑term and seasonal plans (revenue, margin, inventory).
  • Model regional sales demand for new categories and distribution opportunities.
  • Ensure merchandise strategy and financial plans align with global and regional objectives.
  • Optimize forecasts from Hubs/Wholesale and DTC for accuracy.
  • Safeguard consistency of wholesale account plans across the various Hubs.
  • Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Planning, Global Brand, and Hub teams.
  • Improve processes and systems to make demand planning more efficient and data‑driven.

Your success is reflected in demand and revenue aligned with targets and in high forecast accuracy.

What You Receive

You step into a role with direct impact on commercial results, inventory levels, and omnichannel performance across the entire EMEA region.

  • Interim assignment as a Business Professional within an international omnichannel retail environment in Amsterdam (NLD).
  • 40 hours per week (8 hours per day), weekly timesheets (Time & Expense).
  • Hourly rate (bill rate) of €82.93 excluding VAT, based on approximately 1,144 hours for the assignment duration.
  • Collaboration with an experienced EMEA Demand Planning & Merchandising team.
  • An inclusive, professional environment where diversity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship are central.

The Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced demand planner who feels at home operating at EMEA level and enjoys switching between strategy, data, and stakeholder management.

  • 7–10 years of experience in wholesale, demand, or merchandise planning within fashion, retail, or consumer goods.
  • Strong expertise in demand and wholesale planning and solid understanding of demand‑driven merchandise financials.
  • Commercial and results‑oriented, combining short‑term sales focus with long‑term strategy.
  • Highly analytical, experienced in data‑driven work and tools such as SAP and Excel.
  • Skilled stakeholder manager across Finance, Merchandising, DTC, Wholesale, Planning Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Adaptive, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment.
  • Fluent in English; preferably holds a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or (retail) management.
